We hired SSA, Inc. for our single family residence remodel and addition project, and closely worked with Sharmila, principal architect at SSA. We are very glad that every phase of the project was very smooth and efficient, and Sharmila was there as a trusted guide at every step from beginning to end. She is very knowledgeable, transparent and able to patiently explains the details – first, she provided us the design options and studies for different scenarios to revamp and extend our existing kitchen and living room; once we settled on a design, she helped us navigate the city permits with the necessary documents and her familiarity with the process and articulate skills with inspection officials were critical in getting the approvals right the first time. We also decided to go with the general contractor she recommended, and together they delivered a high quality construction, paying attention to every detail that fit the outlined budget, timelines, safety and aesthetics. Our project was completed within 4 months of the start of construction on schedule. We highly recommend SSA, Inc. and Sharmila for their professional services.

Excellent Architect

We hired SSA, Inc. for the exterior and interior remodel of our Autobody shop building. It is a challenging project since the building was never upgraded to be current code compliant. There are existing items to be legalized as well. Sharmila, Owner/Principal Architect is very knowledgable, experienced and familiar with city process, current building and fire codes. She is very personable, creative and suggested solutions and design that are both effecient for our setup as well as acceptable by the City. She and her competent, effecient team of engineers delivered design plans, renderings, drawing sets in a fast paced timeline so we do not have lags in our operations. SSA, Inc & team have expereince working with the building departments in all cities in the bay area. They communicate promptly and effectively with plan checkers and building officials. She is a fantastic architect who always works for the best outcome for her client. We are very thankful to have hired her and highly recommend her company’s services for your remodel, addition or new construction project.

Sharmila is great to work with. She provides designs and city plans in a timely manner. Very responsive and makes herself available when situations arise.
