Located in the industrial district of San Jose, this new 2- story office serves as the headquarters for a major recycle company that serves the entire south bay area. The design aligns with the existing character of the neighborhood using board form concrete as the major structural system that floats the expansive clerestory glass on the two long sides of the building. Wood and corrugated metal panels provide accent features along all sides.
The design accentuates the natural quality and texture of the building materials such as board form concrete, glass & steel. The large glass volume opens the main entry to the building and ties it with the landscape and parking.
